1. Introduction
This Cancellation & Refund Policy (“Policy”) forms part of the Terms & Conditions of Nethakani Matrimony (the “Website”), which is owned and operated by the Website Administrator (“we”, “us”, “our”).
By purchasing or subscribing to any service or membership on the
Website, you (“User”, “Member”, “you”) agree to this Policy and the Terms &
Conditions.
2. General Policy
2.1. All payments made on this Website for membership or premium
services are final and non-refundable, except where required by law or
expressly stated in this Policy.
2.2. I provide digital and personalized matrimonial matchmaking
services, which begin immediately upon payment. Therefore, as per applicable
e-commerce and consumer protection laws, no refund shall be applicable once a
paid service is activated.
2.3. You acknowledge that the value of a membership lies in access
to data, visibility, and digital exposure — all of which are made available as
soon as your account is upgraded.
3. Cancellation of Membership
3.1. You may cancel your membership at any time by sending an
email to [[email protected]] with the subject line “Membership
Cancellation Request”.
3.2. Upon receipt of your request, I will deactivate your paid
membership within 7 working days.
3.3. Cancelling your membership does not entitle you to a refund,
in full or in part, for the remaining period of your subscription.
3.4. You may, however, continue to use your free basic profile
after cancellation, if applicable.
4. Refund Conditions
Refunds may be considered only under the following limited
circumstances:
4.1. Duplicate Payment:
If you are charged twice for the same transaction due to a
technical or payment gateway error, one payment may be refunded after
verification.
4.2. Payment Gateway Failure:
If your transaction fails but the amount is debited from your bank
account, the payment gateway (Razorpay) will automatically initiate a refund to
your original payment method, as per its standard refund timelines.
4.3. Unauthorized or Fraudulent Payment:
If you suspect unauthorized payment on your account, you must
notify me within 48 hours of the transaction at [[email protected]]. Upon
verification, and if the claim is genuine, I may request Razorpay to process a
refund.
4.4. Non-activation of Paid Service:
If your paid membership or premium features were not activated
within 7 business days of successful payment due to my error (not due to false
details or non-cooperation by you), you may request a full refund.
5. No Refund Situations
No refund shall be made in cases including, but not limited to:
You changed your mind or found a partner elsewhere.
You failed to use or access the services for any reason (including
internet issues or inaccessibility).
You were suspended or terminated due to violation of the Terms
& Conditions or misuse.
You expected a particular result (e.g., a successful match) which
did not occur.
Partial usage of the service or expired subscription.
Disputes arising from interactions between users.
6. Refund Process
6.1. To request a refund (if eligible), send an email to [[email protected]] with:
Your registered name and email,
Payment transaction ID,
Date and amount of payment,
Reason for refund request.
6.2. Once the request is verified and approved, the refund will be
processed through Razorpay, and the amount will be credited to your original
payment source (credit/debit card, bank, wallet, etc.) within 7–14 business
days, depending on your bank’s policy.
6.3. I do not control Razorpay’s internal processing timelines or
your bank’s refund policy, and thus cannot be held liable for any delay caused
by those third parties.
7. Razorpay Terms
7.1. All payments and refunds are subject to Razorpay’s Terms of
Service and Refund Policy, which can be reviewed at https://razorpay.com/terms/
7.2. Razorpay may deduct transaction or processing charges, and
such deductions are non-refundable.
7.3. You agree to comply with any verification, documentation, or
KYC procedures that Razorpay or relevant financial institutions may require
during the refund process.

inconvenience arising from failed payments, technical errors, or delays caused
by banks, Razorpay, or any third-party service provider.
