1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions (“T&C”) govern your access to and use of the website Nethakani Matrimony (the “Website”) and any services offered through the Website (collectively, the “Service”).

1.2. The Website and Service

The Website and Service are operated by SanShiva Tech Labs, a sole proprietorship (UDYAM-registered) (“Operator”), as a voluntary, non-commercial community initiative for the Nethakani community. The Operator is not a company, partnership, or registered matrimonial bureau. No fees are charged for basic use unless expressly stated on the Website.

1.3. Agreement to Terms

By registering, signing up, logging in, or otherwise using the Website or Service, you (“User”, “you”, “Member”) agree to be bound by these T&C. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1.4. Modifications

We may modify these T&C at any time. Updated versions take effect upon posting on the Website. Continued use indicates acceptance.

2. Eligibility & Registration

2.1. Age Requirement

You confirm that you are at least 18 years old, competent to contract, and not barred from using the Service under applicable law.

2.2. Account Registration

You must provide true, accurate, current, and complete information when registering. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities under your account. Report unauthorized use immediately to [email protected]

You agree to keep your information updated and accurate at all times. You will not create a profile for anyone other than yourself without authorization.

3. Use of Service

3.1. Service Features

The Service allows you to create a profile, view approved profiles, communicate with members, and use other available features.

3.2. Service Disclaimer

The Service is provided “as-is” and “as-available.” We do not guarantee any match, response, or outcome. Profiles and user-provided data may be incomplete, outdated, or inaccurate.

3.3. Compliance

You agree not to:

(a) Use the Service for illegal or immoral purposes;

(b) Post false, misleading, or incomplete information;

(c) Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity;

(d) Upload content that is defamatory, obscene, infringing, harassing, or otherwise unlawful;

(e) Collect or share other users’ data without consent;

(f) Interfere with or attempt to hack, disrupt, or overload the Website or servers.

3.4. Right to Refuse Service

We may approve, suspend, or delete any account at our discretion with or without notice to protect users or enforce these T&C.

4. Profiles, Verification & Content

4.1. Limited Verification

We may conduct ID verification to reduce misuse. We do not perform criminal, financial, marital, employment, or character checks. You must independently verify any prospective match’s credentials.

4.2. User Responsibility

You are solely responsible for your communications, meetings, and interactions with other users. Exercise caution and diligence before sharing personal details or meeting anyone.

4.3. License to Use Content

You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to host, reproduce, and display your profile information and photos solely for operating the Service.

4.4. Content Liability

We are not responsible or liable for user-generated content, or any reliance on such content. We do not endorse or verify user-provided information.

5. Safe Use, Contact Sharing & User Conduct

5.1. Personal Safety

Meet only in public places, inform family or friends, and never send money or sensitive information to anyone met via the Website.

5.2. Contact/Phone Number Sharing

You may choose to share your phone number, email, or other direct contact details with other members. Once shared, we cannot control or monitor its usage. Sharing is entirely at your own risk. We are not responsible or liable for any misuse (including harassment, spam, or fraud) arising from user-shared details.

5.3. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to harass, stalk, threaten, defame, or harm any person; not to solicit money or gifts; not to run advertisements, promotions, or surveys; not to impersonate or mislead; and not to misuse another user’s data or profile.

5.4. Monitoring & Action

We may monitor user activity and investigate misuse. We may suspend or permanently ban users who violate these T&C, without notice.

6. Memberships, Fees & Payments (IF ENABLED)

6.1. Paid Features

If we introduce paid features, pricing and terms will be clearly displayed. The basic Service will remain free and community-focused.

6.2. Payment Gateway

Payments, if applicable, may be processed by Razorpay or similar gateways, subject to their terms. We are not liable for any banking or gateway issues beyond our control.

6.3. Refunds

Payments are non-refundable unless required by law or expressly stated otherwise.

6.4 Payments 

All payments will be processed in INR and subject to applicable taxes, if any.

7. Termination & Suspension

7.1. By You

You may delete your account anytime through the Website or by contacting [email protected].

7.2. By Us

We may terminate or suspend your access without notice for violation of these T&C, misuse, fraud, or risk to others.

7.3. Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your profile and data may be deleted. We are not obliged to retain or provide any data after termination, except as required by law.

8. Disclaimers, Liability & Indemnity

8.1. No Guarantee of Match

We do not guarantee any match, response, or successful marriage.

8.2. No Responsibility for User Conduct or Disputes

We do not pre-screen or verify users beyond basic ID checks. We are not responsible for users’ actions, communications, or behavior on or off the Website. All interactions are at your sole risk.

8.3. Platform-Only Role

Nethakani Matrimony only provides an online platform to help members of the Nethakani community connect. We do not participate in, influence, or mediate discussions, decisions, or marriages. We are not a party to any dispute, complaint, or legal proceedings between users or families, including police or court matters. We may cooperate with law enforcement only when legally required.

8.4. Service Availability

We disclaim all warranties (express or implied) about accuracy, reliability, suitability, or availability. Service interruptions or errors may occur due to maintenance or technical failures.

8.5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, reputation, or opportunities. If you use the Service free of charge, our liability shall be zero.

8.6. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold the Operator (SanShiva Tech Labs – Sole Proprietorship) harmless from any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, or costs arising from your use of the Service, your interactions with users, or your breach of these T&C.

9. Intellectual Property

9.1. Ownership

All design, software, text, graphics, logos, and other elements of the Website are owned by us or our licensors.

9.2. Limited License

You are granted a limited, revocable, non-exclusive license to access and use the Website for matrimonial purposes only.

10. Privacy & Data Protection

10.1. Privacy Policy

Use of the Service is governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and safeguard personal data.

10.2. Sharing of Information

Your provided information may be visible to approved members for matchmaking purposes. You are responsible for deciding what to share.

10.3. Security

Keep your login credentials confidential. We are not responsible for unauthorized access caused by user negligence.

11. Notice & Reporting

Report fake profiles, misuse, or harassment to [email protected] with details. We may act at our discretion and cooperate with lawful investigations.

12. Communications

12.1. Consent

By registering, you consent to receive communications (email, SMS, calls) regarding matches and safety alerts. You can opt out anytime.

13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

13.1. Governing Law

These T&C are governed by the laws of India.

13.2. Jurisdiction

Any dispute arising from these T&C shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Hyderabad, Telangana, India.

14. Miscellaneous

14.1. Non-Commercial Operation

Nethakani Matrimony is a free, non-commercial community platform. It does not provide professional matchmaking or consultancy services.

14.2. Relationship

These T&C do not create any partnership, employment, or agency relationship between you and us.

14.3. Entire Agreement

These T&C and the Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and us.

14.4. Severability

If any provision is found invalid, the remainder remains enforceable.

14.5. No Legal Responsibility

The Operator is not responsible for, nor a party to, any disputes, complaints, or proceedings arising between members, their families, or third parties, including those before police or legal authorities.

14.6. Testing/Beta Phase

Currently the Website is in testing or beta phase; features may change or reset. We are not liable for losses or errors during such testing.
